I bought a Ford Explorer a year ago - I traveled around Moscow and outside the city. Before that, there were two cars at the same time - "RAV-4" and "Murano". I skated one by one and was pleased. But somehow they gradually became small. There was a need for a third row of seats. The stability of the Ford Explorer on the road is decent, rutting is also not a headache. The limiter is at 180 km / h, but I don't really want to use it anymore.
The interior decoration of the Ford Explorer is "level". The ergonomics of the driver's seat are well thought-out. The 7 interior lighting options are especially impressive, the rest can be seen in the dealer's photos. The quality of the interior is good - leather, plastic, wood, chrome - this should be seen once, but better to touch. There are minor "misunderstandings", but you get used to it.
Advantages: salon, comfort, safety.
Disadvantages: small.
At first impressions, I drove the first 1000 km so far, and it is still difficult to say: the Ford Explorer runs perfectly on the highway: acceleration to a hundred in a little over 6 seconds, and you can feel it. For such a huge piece of metal is quite enough. The car feels much less than it actually is - you can maneuver. I drive quite actively / aggressively, but the Ford Explorer stands on the road like a glove. Especially on road loops and highway entrances, you can feel how well it clings to the road. Moreover, the rolls are minimal, 20 '' wheels cling to the asphalt and rolls - there are almost none. Very soft suspension, together with excellent dynamics. I really like this balance - when you need to ride calmly, you “float”, and when you need to accelerate, it breaks. You can find either faster or softer, but not both. Quiet enough inside. Quieter than all previous cars. I liked how the car drives at high speeds - without any options at all - you don't feel them and, what's most interesting, the car doesn't feel them. That for 0-100 km / h, that for 100-150 km / h acceleration and behavior of the car on the road is the same - it does not swing, does not roll, does not walk on the road, etc. Inside the Ford Explorer, nothing holds together, does not make noise, and the build is good. High quality materials. The seats are comfortable, but less comfort
